After being a member of the Bar since 1982, I (Bill Nolan) have decided to slow it all down. Effective 12/31/26, I will be stepping back from actively seeing clients and will assist, as needed, in more of a consulting manner, as needed. Jennifer Taylor and Brianne Stephens will be keeping the firm running however, so there should be no real change in our level of service or practice areas. Jennifer has been with the firm for a decade and knows her stuff. She is hard-working, organized, empathetic, and I could not imagine a better person to take over this firm than her! Many of you have already met her and would agree with me that she is a great lawyer and will continue all the traditions we have established over the years.
Brianne Stephens is also a fantastic lawyer and person. She graduated from Cumberland last year and has been with us since then. She is a local, from McCalla, and she will be picking up much of the outside marketing that I have primarily been responsible for over the years. Seminars, presentations, meet and greets, those sorts of events will be directed to her. Being from right here in Jefferson County and being a natural extrovert, she is perfect for these events.
I want to personally thank our clients and referral sources for the trust and confidence they have shown in our firm over the years. Rest assured that this same level of professionalism and care will continue; this is just a minor personnel change!
