This last month was BUSY!
Bill Nolan spoke at several locations in April. He was invited to speak to a Caregiver’s support group at Asbury United Methodist Church, where he spoke on how our firm supports the caregiver in various ways. He was also invited to speak at New Bethel Baptist Church in Birmingham where he spoke to a large group of seniors about Estate Planning, Probate and how to protect assets when facing a nursing home stay. He also spoke at the annual meeting of MSSO, the Medical Social Services Organization, where he spoke about Medicaid- what is it, how to legally protect assets when facing a Medicaid application and what can and cannot be done in the process. There were over 100 people attending the annual MSSO meeting.
The Alabama Elder Care Law Firm, LLC announces the hiring of Valerie A. Sawyer, a recent graduate of Birmingham School of Law. She graduated early and took the February Bar exam. She is already in the training process and will soon be accepting clients on her own.
